A small handed person will not be able to cope with a .50" magnum because of the muzzle climb. In other words even if he likes the DESERT EAGLE it will be useless for him. And a officer wont find a .22" good enough because it doesn't have enough power. So first read this page and then choose your pistol!

This bullet is the smallest bullet there is. Due to its size and weigh it hardly has any blocking power. But because it is so small it is also cheep, that's why meany people like to train with it. on real attacks they have a larger caliber.To strengthen a bit the .22" powers they made .22"'s that have more gunpowder and that are heavier, like the .22" large and the .22" magnum.
0.25"
A little bit larger then the .22" but still not big enough. this bullet is common in women pistol and is used for close self defence.
.32"/7.62
This caliber is much stronger then the other two, but it's still not enough. This caliber has meany types from the perabelum version till the long one. this types were made because people liked the guns of the .32" because it was small, but tired to increase its blocking power. I gusse it didn't work.
0.38"
This is the weakest bullet used for self defence. used basically because the gun is small. but because it is good for only ten yards security men, who usually need a larger distance gun, don't buy it.a raguel .30"
Also known as the .38 webly. this bullet could only fit in a toupee gun, the same size of a 9m.m. perablum but weaker. meany police units use this kind but know the .38" special took its place..38" special

The most common caliber. It also doesn't have a high muzzle climb an also has meany cartridges in a magazine, making it the most recommended caliber for self defence.10 m.m.
This caliber is special designed for a flat ballistic flight. Its hi power and deep penetration gives it a high blocking power. Meany gun manufactures are changing pistols to this caliber because of its popularity.ACP .45"
The most well known caliber. Until now it was held as the strongest bullet. And is still held as the strongest bullet for 10-15 yards. After that range it starts to slow down. that's why the 9 m.m. perablum took his place.
0.357 magnum
The magnum have more gun powder giving the bullet more speed and better hits for long range. It is stronger then the 9 m.m. perablum but has a much higher muzzle climb. This caliber is recommended for self defence..44 magnum
My choice. This bullet has the most blocking power. It has a very deep penetration and makes a lot of flesh wound. But his muzzle climb makes it hard to shoot a few bullets. But this is a perfect bullet for hunting.
